THE LIKELY
CASE.

Isaiah Likely to score 2+ touchdowns. Research entry: 2¢ before fees. Game: Dallas vs. New York G, September 13, 2026.

WHY WE PICKED THIS

Original thesis, summarized after settlement

The price: The 2¢ ticket needed roughly a 2.12% chance of winning after estimated entry fees. Our rough calculation put two or more touchdowns at 2.65%.

The opportunity: Pregame reporting pointed to a larger receiving role and a connection with Jaxson Dart. That supported a path to multiple scores.

The decision: Take the long-shot single. Adding a Giants win to the ticket would add another condition. The edge depended heavily on the touchdown estimate.

This is a retrospective summary of a selection made in the founder’s private conversation. Published here September 14, 2026. The outcome was a win according to the supplied receipt. This page is not an independently timestamped pregame public call.

The price came first.

The public Polymarket ticket displayed roughly 2¢ per contract. A $150 preview showed about $7,083 in settlement value after estimated entry fees, with a possible partial fill. That preview implied a break-even probability near 2.12%. The actual receipt shows a different purchase size.

The role supported an opportunity.

Giants reporting described an expanded receiving role and a connection with Jaxson Dart throughout camp. Next Gen Stats, cited by the team, put Likely at 10.2 yards per target when aligned away from the offensive line in 2025, second among qualifying tight ends. Those observations made a multi-score game plausible. They did not make it probable.

The numbers behind the entry.

NumberFire projected 0.25 receiving touchdowns. A simple Poisson model gives a 2.65% chance of two or more: 1 − exp(−0.25) × (1 + 0.25). That was above the approximately 2.12% break-even point in the preview.

This was a rough check, not a calibrated football prediction model. If the touchdown projection falls to 0.20, the same calculation gives only 1.75%. The apparent edge disappears. Scoring events also do not perfectly match the model’s assumptions.

Why a single selection?

The ticket only needed Likely to score at least twice. Adding a Giants win or a yardage condition would introduce another way for the ticket to lose. The original research favored the single for the founder’s stated long-shot payout goal.

The founder also purchased Giants to win as a separate position. Read the Fable Giants thesis and result. Both positions shared exposure to the same game.

The winning receipt.

The receipt shows a $127.52 purchase and a $6,021.98 winning credit. It does not establish a sustainable return, confirm every execution detail, or prove the model was accurate. The original estimate implied losing the bet roughly 97% of the time.

Founder-supplied Polymarket receipt for the winning Isaiah Likely 2+ touchdowns selection.

Earlier in the same conversation, a Dallas moneyline recommendation was withdrawn because the analysis did not support calling it the best bet. That correction stays in the record.
